Vestry Bios – Andy Dagis

Andy Dagis

– Born in Waukegan, IL in 1957, Andy was raised Roman Catholic in an ethnically Eastern European congregation.  Waukegan is a distant satellite suburb of Chicago, comparable to Riverside, CA.  Andy studied physics at University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign (BS, 1979), biological sciences at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana (MS, 1981) and biostatistics at University of California, Los Angeles (MS, 1990).  He works as a bio-statistician at City of Hope, and helps Physicians with the statistical information and illustrations that aid in their journal publications.  Andy married Alisha Tralli, an Arcadia High School science teacher in 2004.  She was a resident of Pasadena, and a parishioner at St. Edmund’s Church in San Marino. Upon moving to Monrovia, they drifted from St. Edmund’s to St. Luke’s.  Once Fr. Neil came, they decided that they had found “their church,” and transferred membership.
