The Gordon Highlanders Scottish Dancers have dance classes on Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the children's room. The dancers learn Scottish Highland dancing for demonstrations and competitions from Kathy Eisel, a certified Highland dance teacher, who has been dancing for over 50 years and teaching over 30 years. She is a member of the Scottish Dance Teachers’ Alliance (SDTA) and the Federation of United States Teachers and Adjudicators (FUSTA). Kathy is assisted by Megan Wiseley-Cook, a certified member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD).
The Gordon Highlanders have danced for many Scottish organizations and community events. Our dancers also compete in dance competitions at a variety of Scottish Highland games/festivals.
